Add a handmade touch to your autumn decor with this confident Beginner/Intermediate sewing class!
In this class, you'll learn how to sew a quick and versatile runner perfect for fall gatherings - or any occasion! This class is perfect for adult beginners and experienced quilters alike. Register today to sew a great project for your home!
Please bring the following to this class:
- A Sewing Machine in good working order
- Large spool of preferred thread
All Other Supplies Provided
You can find all materials at Singer Sewing Center located on 6034 S Padre Island Drive.
Please note: The Art Center of Corpus Christi can provide up to three sewing machines. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve one. First come first serve.

For Intermediate students who would like to bring their own fabric:
Materials ( IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN FABRIC, IT MUST BE CUT) A kit will be provided for all students
74 (3 ½) A squares of assorted fall-colored squares (orange, yellows, browns).
3/8 yard of orange fabric
½ yellow fabric
Cutting instructions from assorted fabrics
Cut 4 (3 ½ by Wof strips)
subcut 1 strip into 2 (3 ½ X 13 ¼) strips. Label them as B strips.
Set aside remaining 3 strips and label them as C strips.
About the Instructor:
Dani Osborn is a 39-year-old Texas native who began her quilting journey in 2005. Since then, Dani has taken her sewing skills from small projects, to creating beautiful collage quilts. She happily married in 2015 and graduated from South Texas Collage with an associate’s in science for Respiratory Therapy in 2019. A year later, Dani became a proud mother of one and moved to Corpus Christi to be closer to her son’s specialist. She’s become an Avid quilter since her father’s passing three years ago, and spends her time learning, growing, and taking care of her son.
