Get ready to turn up the volume and build to the beat with the theme “Rock the Sand!” It’s the ultimate sandcastle-building contest with a theme celebrating the world of music. Whether you are inspired by rock n’ roll, pop, jazz, country, classical and everything in between, we invite you to create something that hits the perfect note!

This long-running event is presented by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce and attracts thousands of spectators and contest participants ranging from seasoned professionals to first–timers. Get your team together – family, friends, work, church or school group – sign up now or come to the beach to watch. Event participants receive a free T-Shirt…and you can even win a cash prize!

In addition to incredible sand creations, the event will feature
