Start your Thanksgiving morning with movement, fun, and a little friendly competition at the Lake Norman Turkey Trot in Cornelius. Hosted in partnership with Snooze Mattress and Wellness, this family favorite brings runners and walkers from Mooresville, Huntersville, Denver, Davidson, Hickory, Statesville, Charlotte and beyond together for an unforgettable holiday tradition.
Whether you are tackling your first 5K, chasing a new personal record in the 10K, or taking on the only Thanksgiving Day half marathon within 150 miles of Charlotte, there is a distance for every age and fitness level. Families love the scenic fall atmosphere, energetic crowd, and chance to start the day feeling strong and connected.
Your participation also supports local charities across the region, making every mile meaningful. Expect festive music, community spirit, great vibes, and plenty of turkey themed costumes. Bring your family, friends, or your entire neighborhood. Everyone is welcome.
