Painted on Glass Workshops

As part of Culture Night 2025, we invite you to a glass painting workshop :-)

Glass painting is a type of painting in which the image appears on the other side of the glass. It is usually painted with oil or water-based paints using a brush and pen. Tempera paints were typically used by folk painters.
Glass painting developed as a part of folk art, particularly in the Polish Podhale region.
These workshops draw on the work of Polish writer Stefan Żeromski, and the glass we painted is a reference to the "glass houses" from the novel "The Coming Spring."

Admission is free.

The workshops are part of the "Stefan Żeromski - His Life and Work" project co-financed by the Polish Embassy in Dublin.
