Welcome to “Let’s Talk About It,” the show where I discuss everything people in Cork absolutely pretend they don’t talk about…but definitely do after two pints. Palestine, Israel, Netanyahu, colonization, Trump, Western hypocrisy, and whatever geopolitical madness I scrolled past that morning. If there’s an elephant in the room, trust me — I’m feeding it hummus and giving it a mic.
My shows get cancelled more often than Ryanair flights in a storm, but somehow I still end up performing anyway. I’ve played across Europe, in cities that tried to shut me down and cities that welcomed me like a long-lost cousin. Cork, I feel like you’re somewhere in between — supportive, but also quietly judging my accent.
And yes, I tell stories from my own life too, and I’ve experienced enough personal embarrassment to keep Irish audiences entertained for hours. Family chaos, travel disasters, questionable childhood moments — all included.
If you’re easily offended, sensitive, or think “hummus is foreign muck,” maybe sit this one out.
But if you love dark humour, sharp truths, sarcasm, and laughing at things your government would prefer you didn’t — pull up a chair, grab a pint, and settle in.
