Barbara Barrett will paint an Ethereal Early Morning Scene in Watercolour.

Renowned artist, Barbara Barrett was born and raised in South Africa. Having worked in the computer industry & moving on to run her own business, Barbara was drawn to study art as a mature student through UNISA and owned her own galleries. Her paintings hang in collections around the world; her largest commission being to paint nearly 150 paintings of birds. She specialises in teaching in watercolour & has been painting for over 30 years in this medium, oils, acrylics & mixed media.

This promises to be an interesting and engaging event which is open to the public & beginner, aspiring & professional artists.
The theme for the artists’ submissions’ for the President’s Prize (awarded at year end) is “Recent Work”, if you wish to bring a personal painting to display at the demo.
If you are "stuck" in a painting you are welcome to bring it along to seek advice from fellow members.
