Pasture Walk at Twin Cedar Farm

Join University of Maryland Extension, NRCS, and Webb Dulin Jr. for an educational pasture walk at Twin Cedar Farm in Cordova, MD (Talbot county).

Twin Cedar Farm raises grass-finished beef that is marketed directly to the consumer while also utilizing the cattle to regenerate the soil and improve the environment. In addition to focusing on frequent rotations and building soil health, the farm is also doing some experimenting with summer annual cover crops interseeded into perennial pasture to boost summer forage production. Join us for this pasture walk for a discussion on grazing management, finishing cattle on grass, and integration of annual forages into the grazing rotation.
