OK it is official!
The 2025 TECO Coal Family & Friends Reunion is set in stone. The reunion will be held September 27, 2025 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at David's Steakhouse Meeting Room in Corbin, KY.
Please spread the word to all the former employees, vendors and friends of TECO Coal Company, Gatliff Coal Company, Rich Mountain Coal Company, Clintwood Elkhorn Coal Company, and Perry County Coal Company.
We had approximately 68 attend the 2017 reunion, at the Briar Creek Park and, unfortunately, we did not have the best weather that day, so I feel that was a good crowd.
Our Facebook page has grown considerably, since 2017, and I hope to see many more people attend the reunion this year. The reunion will be an indoor setting this time, so we won't have to worry with the weather.
Let's get a good crowd together and enjoy a few moments reminiscing with our old friends and coworkers.

The reunion won't be anything fancy. It's just a get together with friends.
You will need to buy your own meal and please don't forget to tip the waitresses. The owner of David's Steakhouse, David Keck, is gracious enough to allow us to meet there. I appreciate him doing that for us. For those of us who worked at TECO, Gatliff and Rich Mountain it will be bittersweet as it is where some of our Safety Award Dinners were held. Buying our own meal is a small price to pay to see all our old friends. A lot of our friends and coworkers have already passed, so we never know, this may be the last chance we have to get together.
I hope for a big turn out and can't wait to see you ALL September 27, 2025 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
