Alicia Smith is a regular columnist with Woopi News and the powerhouse behind The Social Flip, where she brings nearly two decades of digital production and marketing expertise to help businesses stand out online. After film school and an early love of storytelling sparked by classic ads like the RSPCA commercial (with the lost little wombat), Alicia has spent 18–19 years in marketing - across corporate and not‑for‑profit sectors.
Now based in Coffs Harbour after a vibrant stint in Cairns, she’s also a dedicated mum of three, adventure‑loving wife, and an avid supporter of community causes like the Cancer Council’s “Stars of Coffs Coast Dance for Cancer” fundraiser. (Which, by the way, she won!)
