Audition Workshop for ‘Threads - A New Australian Eco Musical‘

Written and composed by multidisciplinary artist Jade Naidu, ‘Threads - A New Eco Musical’ is a powerful new musical that weaves together poetry, original composition, and the awe-inspiring interconnectedness of nature. Set in the lush rainforests of Waterfall Way on the Mid North Coast, the work explores the deep ties between community, land, and environment - drawing inspiration from the hidden fungal networks that sustain the forest. With a richly poetic score, Threads is a celebration of resilience, love, and the urgent call to protect our natural world.

The Audition Workshop is open to all performers interested in auditioning for ‘Threads.’ This session offers a chance to explore the characters, songs, and material in depth with the writer/composer.

All audition content will be taught during the workshop to fully prepare actors for Round 1 of auditions, taking place July 18–20th, 2025.
