Since 2018, Syrian Doc Days has played a crucial role in Denmark. Beyond presenting a diverse selection of Syrian stories and films, this year is about deepening that connection even further. It’s about creating spaces where Syrian voices are not just heard but felt — where the “complexity” of our shared history and present can be explored openly and honestly.
This year marks our 8th edition of Syrian Doc Days — taking place in Copenhagen September 10–14 — five days of films, talks, music, Q&As, and more, across Cinemateket, Grand Teatret, and Husets Biograf.
At the same time, we’ll have parallel events and screenings in Aarhus — and even inside Syria.
