CONVERSATION AND SOUP
Conversation and Soup is a regular gathering at Bybi for exploring different perspectives and experimenting with conversation formats from different cultures and traditions. It is free and for anyone in the Bybi community who is interested.
This autumn we will hold a series of three conversations exploring 'care' and 'carelessness' in the food system - based on our own experiences and dilemmas here in Denmark . Over the three dates we will explore different aspects of the question using different conversation techniques.
If you play an active role in transforming the food system and want to unveil some of its complex and invisible dynamics, or if you are a concerned citizen wanting to understand the reasons behind the current challenges or if you are simply curious, join us for one of the conversations or all three.
29th October: Parliament of Things

Strawberry is fed up. Something needs to change.
She feels overweight, tasteless, and frustrated with her dear friend soil, who has become less and less supportive.
Should she find an alternative way to grow?
We rise a parliament to examine what voices that present themselves on this matter and explore the conflicts and possible new relations that might arise.
The Parliament of Things is a format inspired by Bruno Latour and original developed by Building Conversations. In this format, it isn't just humans that speak, but also other animals, plants, objects and phenomena. It is great fun, and always a fascinating way to look at important questions with new perspectives.
Together we will define the question and decide what voices to invite to speak. During the conversation we speak as these voices, moving and changing as the conversation progresses.
