This Cuban salsa musicality workshop focuses on understanding the instruments, rhythms, structure, and counting of the music.🎵 You will learn how different instruments interact, how rhythms are layered, and how the music is built over time. 🎶
The workshop breaks down musical structure and counting in a clear and practical way, making the music easier to follow and dance to. ✨
By learning what to listen for, you will be able to connect your movement more precisely to the music. 💃
The workshop is taught by Jakob, a dance teacher and Latin DJ with over 12 years of experience sharing Cuban dances and music on dance floors and in classrooms. 🕺
With a background as a musician in Cuban bands—singing and playing trumpet🎺 and hand percussion—he brings deep musical insight into the dance.
Expect clearer timing, better musical awareness, and a stronger connection between your dancing and the music! 🫶
