Queer Spoken Word @ Folkets Hus

Join us for a cozy night of Queer Spoken Word at Folkets Hus, October 23 at 19 o'clock!

Queer Spoken Word is a community based open mic event for any LGBTQ+ people who have something on heart they want to share in a safer space. Any form of poetry, song, prose or other kinds of creative writing are welcome. You can perform your piece(s) in any language you'd like. Note that the event will be hosted primarily in English, with an intro in Spanish as well.

Allies are welcome, but we stress that you're aware of the space and the people in it. We tolerate no discrimination of any kind!

If you want to perform, you can come to the bar within the first 30 minutes (from 19-19:30) where we’l l put you on the setlist for the evening - so be there early if you wanna secure a spot!

After the show we will bring you loungy, cozy vibes and a bar with an assortment of drinks if you wanna hang out afterwards and chat or chill out :)
