Oh no it isn’t… oh yes it is!
We’re ending the year with a burst of festive chaos: Pantomime — that wonderfully over-the-top tradition of heroes, villains, fairies, dames, and downright daftness.
Expect big characters, bigger laughs, and a few terrible puns as we read a script that captures the spirit of panto: part fairy tale, part comedy, and entirely unpredictable.
Think classic stories told with a wink, a song, and plenty of audience mischief — a joyful, family-friendly British theatre custom that’s anything but silent mime.
So dust off your imaginary tiara, polish your make-believe sword, and get ready to boo, cheer, and laugh your way into the holidays — it’s our final play reading of the year, and we’re going out with a “Ta-da”!
🎭 What to expect
Our play readings are informal, relaxed events where we read a script aloud together — script-in-hand, just for fun.
No stage, no pressure, and no prior experience required.
You’re welcome to read a role or simply listen and enjoy the story as it unfolds.
We’ll share the script at the event via QR code and shortlink — just bring a phone or tablet to follow along. No preparation needed.
