In this workshop we will explore the versatility of the brassmonkey grip, a leg hang that opens up a myriad of opportunities for cool tricks and transitions. We will try entrances fitting different levels, and explore different tricks and transitions with brassmonkey as the base. For this workshop the minimal requirement of the participants is: basic pole seat, pole climb and cradle with pull-up grip. For the more experienced pole dancers, having a solid hangback, shouldermount, and aerial straddle is an advantage.

Do you miss all the good old tricks? Then this class is just for you! We’ll dive into the classic pole moves and play with spins, inside/outside leg hangs, flatline, jade, butterfly, yogini, teddy, and many more.
I’m all about the good old tricks – I love simple. Coming from a gymnastics background, nothing pleases my eyes more than a clean, simple combo performed with great precision and strength.
This isn’t about fancy new trends, but about focusing on the solid moves we know and love.
