Dansk Modular and Rytmisk Center invite you to a jam, meetup and buy/sell event this Saturday!
Jam: As an addition to our regular modular meetups, we’re introducing a new way of electronic jamming – this time with an emphasis on lottery-based timeslots and improvisation.
Each player gets 15 minutes per slot to improvise and blend into the aural landscapes of the artists before them – playing themselves both in and out before the next participant joins. A total of 3 participants are the focal point of the jam.
Your instrument may be modular in its nature – but for the sake of simplicity, keep the number of voices to a maximum of 3.
Bring your drum machine, a small skiff, or maybe just your favourite cowbell.
We look forward to hearing you play.
Meetup: Meet other modular synth enthusiasts – feel free to bring gear to showcase, demo, and use in our jam session.
Buy/Sell: You can buy, sell, and trade modules as well as other gear relevant to electronic music – e.g., synthesizers, effects units, and MIDI controllers. A shared modular case will be available for individual module sales (limited space).
Participation is free, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
Schedule:
12:00 Setup and preparation (for participants).
13:00 Opening – Modular Meetup, Jam and Marketplace.
14:00 Jam session
15:30 General barter, discussions and fun.
16:00 Closing
