Since their inception in 2011, Lymland has carved out a singular space in the musical landscape. Over six albums, they’ve explored sound and mood with an approach that is as unpredictable as it is captivating. Their journey has taken them on a tour where they composed music for photographs, performing live in a kaleidoscope of settings: cinemas, vinyl shops, festivals, and even churches. The concert at Amager Records is Lymlands first show in Copenhagen.

Their latest album, Om varifrån framtiden kom (Jezebel Recordings, 2024), was recorded on a cassette 4-track, weaving together synths and an acoustic guitar cloaked in static and fuzz. For their performance at Amager Records, Lymland takes the stage as a trio, bringing electric bass, guitars, and keyboards and a old tape echo into a vibrant interplay. Expect melodies that echo and shimmer, textures that draw you in, and an experience that feels both grounded and otherworldly.
