La Dolce Vita is back for another round of italo madness. For the first time on this side of the summer holiday, Jolene transforms into a hedonist haven for a pumping night of italo-love and sweet living. This time with very special guest star Luca Averna flown in from the hedonist island numero uno - Ibiza.
LUCA AVERNA (IT)
The Veneto-native dj, producer and relentless vinyl collector has has become a staple figure in the world of retro-kitsch dance music. His huge passion for cosmic dance music has seen him manage music stores, run four different record labels and dj all over the world - including prestigious venues like Berghain/Panorama Bar. For the last handfull of years he landed on the island of Ibiza where he has been living and been one of the main drivers of the island's counterculture with smaller indie-parties at places like Pikes (where Luca is also a resident).
His productions and his edits are fabled all over the world and have become favourites among the likes of Sound Metaphors and DJ Harvey.
BOOGIE ROOKIE
Mr. Averna will be backed up by local disco hero Boogie Rookie. He will pack the record bag with dark disco and spaghetti kitsch stuff and might even give a sneak peak of some homemade tunes!
