OM TANJA ZAPOLSKI
Tanja Zapolski er en af Danmarks mest prominente klassiske pianister, som forbløffer publikum i ind- og udlandet med sin virtuose spilleteknik og sit stærke musikalske udtryk.
Med ukrainske rødder og uddannelse fra Det Kgl. Danske Musikkonservatorium har hun optrådt som solist med førende orkestre og dirigenter i både Danmark og udlandet. Tanja Zapolski har modtaget en lang række priser og hædersbevisninger, og udover sin koncertvirksomhed medvirker hun bl.a. i TV-programmer som Den klassiske musikquiz på DR og Piano på TV2.

Bemærk venligst, at der i Festsalen er installeret et midlertidigt kunstværk, som kan påvirke udsynet til den optrædende pianist fra visse vinkler. Koncerten er dog skabt som en meditativ, liggende lytteoplevelse, hvor fokus er på nærvær og lyd – snarere end traditionel scenisk optræden.

Enjoy a concert of classical and meditative piano works, accompanied by soft lighting. Let the spirit of the French Impressionist era inspire you as you immerse yourself in music presented in a new and sensuous way.
Audience members are welcome to lie down or sit on yoga mats. The programme features works by Debussy, Satie and Ravel, alongside meditative pieces by Philip Glass, Hania Rani and Ludovico Einaudi.
The concert is performed in silence – without applause. This special concert format is designed for those seeking reflection and inner peace in historic surroundings.
ABOUT TANJA ZAPOLSKI
Tanja Zapolski is one of Denmark’s most prominent classical pianists, captivating audiences at home and abroad with her virtuosic technique and expressive musicality.
With Ukrainian roots and musical education from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, she has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras and conductors both in Denmark and internationally. Tanja Zapolski has received numerous awards and distinctions, and in addition to her concert work, she appears in television programmes such as The Classical Music Quiz on DR and Piano on TV2.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Yoga mats and blankets are available to borrow at the museum. Please note that bringing your own yoga mat is not permitted. If you prefer to sit, chairs are available upon arrival.
Please be aware that a temporary artwork has been installed in the Central Hall, which may partially obstruct the view of the pianist from certain angles. However, the concert is designed as a meditative, reclining listening experience where the focus is on presence and sound – rather than traditional stage performance.
