We are entering a new chapter. After this info section follows more info about the event!
In the framework of our new association, Range of Motion, our dance evenings are evolving into a bit more intentionally held and themed format. The essence remains the same but the container is changing slightly.
From now, each evening will include a little bit longer part of guided movement exploration inspired by the theme of the night, before the dance unfolds into a free ecstatic wave.
We will be building more network and co creation with facilitators, musicians, DJs and others, to bring more inspiration within a wide Range of Motion.
We encourage all participants to become members, for a continued fellowship and discounted tickets on all events, which replaces our previous early bird-system.
BECOME A MEMBER
by choosing a Membership + Member ticket for the event - the membership fee is 150 and your actual ticket price is 110 dkk. This possibility will be open each time we host an event.
You will then be eligible for Member tickets for all events hosted by RoM in 2026.

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?
Our invitation is to approach dance as a moving meditation, as a way to sweat your prayers and celebrate being alive, with all that it brings!
Have you ever been longing for a dancefloor where you can set yourself free to dance as if no one is watching, and where everyone else is doing it too? A dancefloor with a high and clear vibe - no alcohol, no small talk, no smartphones, no shoes. Just a group of people moving freely, for the pure enjoyment of it, for the therapy, the medicine, the pleasure.
Whatever mood you might be in when you arrive, let it move. There is no agenda and nothing you can do wrong. It is a potential self-healing place, a potential meditation in motion, a potential ground for meeting others in movement - or you might simply just like grooving to really juicy music. Come and let your body do what it wants to do!

THEME 13. MARCH: POWER OF SLOW
This evening DJ Grundstoff is devoting her set to both these qualities.
Slow — not sleepy, but deliberate. Sensing. Precise.
Power — not forceful, but strong. Grounded. Muscular. Rooted.
DJ Grundstoff will create a journey of powerful music, most of it with a (s)lower BPM — deep beats you can feel in your skeleton, textures that invite your muscles to wake up and activate. Music you can lean into. Music that lets you sense your weight, your strength, your substance, your roots.
Less rushing. More presence.
Less speed. More depth.
We begin with 20-30 minutes of guided exploration connected to the theme — simple invitations you can adapt to your own way of moving. No choreography. Nothing you can do wrong. Guidance is an invitation, not a demand.
Then the floor opens into free dance wave, where the music will continue to carry and inspire the theme.

THE PROGRAM
19.00 – Doors open. We begin serving Cacao.
(Make sure to pre-order cacao with a MP payment – see above!)
19.15 – Event start. Gathering circle and short introduction to the practice and to the theme.
Guided movement exploration (Power of Slow).
20.15 – Takeoff - Ecstatic Dance journey with DJ Grundstoff.
22.00 – Dance journey ends. Closing circle and soft landing.
22.15 – Chill while we pack.
23.00 – Elvis must leave the building.

THE MUSIC
The DJ’s intention is to create a smooth wave with great variety — a multicolor journey with room for many aspects of being human.
We always start out soft and gentle, build intensity, and land back into gentle at the end.
Expect electronic depth blended with ethnic and organic elements — voices, percussion, spacious bass, raw rhythms. Music that supports you to experience yourself and your moving body in a wide variety of ways.
Sometimes live elements will be woven into the journey as Range of Motion opens up for new collaborations with musicians and facilitators aligned with the theme of the evening.

Ceremonial Cacao can enhance your dance, energize the body and connect you more deeply with yourself and others. It works with your natural energy — supporting you to soften and open, while staying grounded.
Our cacao is always brewed with oat milk, and will sometimes be lightly infused with spices or herbs – 13. March, we will flavor it lightly with ginger and cinnamon.
Bring your own cup — let’s save single-use materials.

ECSTATIC DANCE GUIDELINES
We dance barefoot.
We dance without talking – sounds are most welcome
We get high on the same vibes — no alcohol or other mind-altering substances.
We dance off screen — no mobile phones, photo or filming on the dancefloor.
We look for consent before touching others.
Take responsibility for your own yes/no and respect the (verbal or non-verbal) no of others.
Own your experience and help create the best possible evening for all.
