We are celebrating the launch of two important projects that both grow from the same roots - the push to create new spaces of solidarity. On the 27th we are launching our new Magazine "Folk på Vej" that will be sold by migrants on the streets of Denmark, and also we are presenting the fruits of a collaborative research project on creating spaces of solidarity across Europe.
1. Activist Handbook Launch – “Transversal Solidarity”
A new handbook created through an international research and activist collaboration between initiatives in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin, Palermo, Ljubljana, Bern, and more.
The handbook highlights how community spaces can support solidarity and self-organization - across borders and cities.
2. New Magazine Launch – “Folk På Vej”
A new street magazine published by Community House and sold by homeless migrants in Denmark. Folk På Vej aims to give a voice to those often unheard: from Ukrainian refugees working unpaid internships to construction workers exposed to asbestos and become a medium that describes the experience and struggles of migrant workers and internationals in Denmark.
