Couleur Café Festival 2025: Music Diversity and Magic on the Red Square

On Saturday June 14 2025 from 12:00–22:00 Couleur Café will once again transform Den Røde Plads (The Red Square) and Nørrebrohallen into the heart of Copenhagen’s most colorful festival — a day celebrating music culture and community filled with rhythms smiles and festive experiences for the whole family.

With a program packed with top musical acts creative workshops children’s activities art fashion and food from around the world Couleur Café 2025 invites all generations and cultures to celebrate the African continent in the heart of Nørrebro.

🎶 World-Class Music Program:

On stage audiences can look forward to a musical journey with international and local stars:

• ADÉDÉJI & BAND (Nigeria): The energetic Afro-funk virtuoso returns to Copenhagen with his top-tier band delivering an explosive mix of funky jazz Afrobeat and soul.
• ManLuckerz And The Zim-Traditional Unity (Zimbabwe/Sweden): Swinging rhythms from Zimbabwe with warm infectious beats and a mission to build cultural bridges.
• Wendy Rolle (Denmark/Kenya): With a deep soul and a voice full of Afro-soul Wendy brings Swahili songs and West African tones to life in a new collaboration with guitarist Mads Hoff.
• SAMI (Lyngby): A young vocal sensation who blends rap and singing in a fresh musical universe that has already captured listeners' attention.
• TAMALA (Senegal/Gambia/Belgium): An award-winning trio uniting griot traditions kora flute and voice for a magical acoustic world music experience.

The festival offers much more than just concerts!

• A children’s area buzzing with joy: creative workshops face painting storytelling and drumming play including activities with Sellasi the charismatic storyteller.
• Street food and bazaar with delicious dishes and handmade crafts from all over the world.
• Fashion show bursting with designs inspired by Africa’s colors and style – open to both emerging and established designers and models.
• Dance workshops art installations debates and dialogue – all in the spirit of community and cultural exchange.
