CONVERSATION AND SOUP
Conversation and Soup is a regular gathering at Bybi for exploring different perspectives and experimenting with conversation formats from different cultures and traditions. It is free and for anyone in the Bybi community who is interested.
This autumn we will hold a series of three conversations exploring 'care' and 'carelessness' in the food system - based on our own experiences and dilemmas here in Denmark . Over the three dates we will explore different aspects of the question using different conversation techniques.
If you play an active role in transforming the food system and want to unveil some of its complex and invisible dynamics, or if you are a concerned citizen wanting to understand the reasons behind the current challenges or if you are simply curious, join us for one of the conversations or all three.
30th September: Systemic Constellations

For the first conversation on 30th of September we are collaborating with a PhD researcher Ilma Stankeviciute who will guide us through the embodied conversation inspired by the Systemic Constellations approach.
Systemic Constellations invite participants to step into the system and represent its different elements and relationships through their own bodies. The unseen connections and stuck dynamics are revealed by paying attention to the bodily sensations and emotions of those representing the system's parts. The approach draws upon family therapy, phenomenology and indigenous wisdom transitions and was developed in the 90s by Bert Hellinger.
During this embodied conversation we will explore where care and carelessness show up in the current Danish system and constellate what it would take to see more care for soil, plants, animals and the human community in the way we grow, transport, process and share food.
This particular event is part of Ilma's research and to make sure that she captures the full richness of insights, there will be an audio recording running throughout the conversation as well as some photos taken to capture the positions and relationships constellated in the room. The recording transcript and photos will be anonymised and will contribute to Ilma's research.
