☆ Tuesday SaunaGus ☆
Butchers Heat hosts SaunaGus every Tuesday evening in our stationary sauna at Margretheholmen at 18:00, 19:15 & 20:30.
Our SaunaGus sessions each last one hour. We provide water and snacks for the breaks between sessions, where there’s also time for a refreshing dip in the harbor.
Please bring swimwear and 2 towels: one to sit on inside the sauna (large enough to cover under your feet), and one to dry off with afterwards. A bathrobe and slippers are also nice to have for the breaks. Bring your own water bottle and make sure to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your sauna visit.
Sauna and swimming are at your own risk!
The price is 220 DKK. Download our app BUTCHERS HEAT – create a profile and book your preferred time slot directly.
You can book up until 15 minutes before the start of a session. If there are still spaces available, you can also take a chance and show up at the start and pay with cash or MobilePay.
LOCATION: The sauna is located at Margretheholm Harbor, the small harbor behind the building “Udsigten” on Margretheholmen, Copenhagen K. Access via Vindmøllevej 9 – drive down Vindmøllevej about 300 meters, enter the gravel lot and head to the far left corner, where you’ll find an opening in the fence.

*Saunagus is aromatherapy in the sauna, where a gusmester (sauna master) works with essential oils on the hot stones and uses a towel to circulate the fragrance and heat around the room, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. At Butchers Heat, we use only pure essential oils, which provide a mild scent with various effects such as relaxation, calm, improved circulation, detoxification, renewed energy, and a deep sense of wellbeing. At most sessions, it’s wonderful and refreshing to take a dip in the sea between gus rounds – all year round! :)
