Creative Generation Excellence Awards 2025
Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre

Celebrate the rising generation of young artists at the opening of the Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Arts on Saturday 13 September from 2pm at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre. The exhibition features high quality artwork across a diverse range of media, materials and techniques from Year 11 and 12 students across the North Coast (Bundaberg down to Nambour).

At the exhibition opening award winners will be announced who will have their work exhibited in GOMA in 2026. Special guest speaker, major Australian painter Colin Pennock will talk about what inspired him to become a professional artist. For many of the students in this exhibition this will be their first exhibition showcase.
