Blacksmithing Weekend will feature blacksmiths from across New York State demonstrating traditional tool and hardware making. Blacksmithing demonstrations will take place in the 1827 Field Blacksmith Shop and throughout the Historic Village. Included with Museum Admission.

10 am - Demonstrations and activities begin at Fields Blacksmith Shop and Tavern Green
10am-Jackson Dubois a member of the timber framers guild demonstrating traditional tools and techniques (adjacent to The Cornwallville Church
11 am & 2 pm - Guided Tour of the Tradesman’s Tool Chest Exhibit: meet in the Main Barn 1st floor near the Welcome Table
11-3pm Handmade Rope on the tavern green (Sunday only)
11:00 am - ABANA Certification Talk with Matt Reder, Tavern Green (Sunday only)
3:30 pm - Scavenger Hunt ends…turn in your form between 11:00 and 4:00 at the activity table for a token to ride the carousel!
4:45 pm - Last carousel ride!
5:00 pm - Museum Closes
