Incoming December 1st! Youth MMA Academy is bringing the world class martial-arts experience of The Academy MN built on decades of battle tested training and fighting to youth MMA! In addition to MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai for youth ranging from 5-20 we also have adult options in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Our mission is simple: To build strong willed, resilient combat athletes, with a "can do" attitude though traditional martial-arts, and modern MMA.
We believe the lessons learned through Martial-arts provide a hands on approach to practical skill development that can be used as a blueprint to master almost any skill on or off the mats.

-2015 Thai Boxing Association National Runner-Up
-2010 and 2012 All Army Combatives National Runner-Up
-20 years training in various martial-arts including MMA, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Army Combatives
Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu - Kelly Johnson
-10x IBJJF Black Belt World Champion
-3rd degree Black Belt under Pedro Sauer
-20 years of training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Muay Thai - Lance King
-2005 Muay Thai Black Belt under Ajarn Chai Sirisute and Ajarn Greg Nelson
-2013 Academy Muay Thai Instructor Certification
-Began training at Minnesota Martial Arts Academy in 1992.
