Overnight Ride to the Cumberland Gap Tunnel

Overnight Ride to Cumberland Gap Tunnel lead by Lewis C. Leaving on Saturday, August the 9th with KSU at 9:00 AM at the Dealership. Return Sunday, August 10th. Note: Riders will need to make their own reservations at the Sleep Inn & Suite in Middlesboro, KY. 1260 N 12th Street (606) 302-2026. The ride on Saturday will take us to Jamestown, and then through the scenic Big South Fork National Park. Saturday’s Lunch stop will be at Preston’s Steak House in Oneida, Tn and then we will ride on to the Cumberland Gap Tunnel and from there to the Hotel for a total of about 165 miles. Sunday’s ride home, with KSU at 8:30 AM, we will take HWY-25E to Pineville, Ky. Then we will take HWY-92 west to Pine Knot, Ky, then HWY-27 north for short ride to HWY-92. From there we will head west through the north section of the scenic Big South Fork National Park. We will have a lunch stop at The Black Stallion Steak House in Monticello, Ky.
