Art Therapy Workshop – Community Recovery Program
📍 Coochiemudlo Community Hall
🕤 9:30am – 2:30pm
📅 Sunday 8th OR Wednesday 11th (choose one)
Ever had something going on inside… but you don’t quite have the words for it?
Art therapy was developed for exactly that. It offers a gentle, creative way to explore thoughts, emotions and experiences without needing to “talk it all out.”
This small-group workshop will be professionally facilitated by Millie Simic, who holds a Masters in Mental Health specialising in Art Therapy. The session creates a safe, respectful and confidential space where participants can explore through simple materials such as pencil, charcoal, shapes and colour.
You do not need to be artistic.
You do not need experience with art materials.
You simply need curiosity and a willingness to explore.
This workshop forms part of the Community Recovery Program addressing ongoing stress following TC Alfred.
Assistance provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
