Arise Char Impact Experience Trip ’25
Some trips stay with you—not because of the photos, but because of the people you meet, the stories you listen to, and the reality you touch with your own hands.
This December, we’re heading to Gaibandha, Balashir Ghat, and Char Kabilpur for a full day of river travel, community immersion, climate-adaptation learning, and shared moments that go far beyond a typical field visit.
You’ll ride through the Brahmaputra, walk through char settlements, explore the Solar Village, talk to community members, observe local gender dynamics, and join a participatory field survey titled:
Climate Resilience in Practice: How Gender, Rights, and Resources Shape Adaptation in Char Kabilpur —
A Field-Based Exploration of Community Capacities and Coping Mechanisms
If you’re curious, eager to learn, and ready to see development work at the ground level, this trip is for you. Bring your energy, your curiosity, and feel free to bring a friend.
