A yearly gathering of rising South Carolina artists sharing songs, stories, and southern soul beneath the pines. Come walk the farm, meet the animals, warm by the fire, and be part of a new rhythm of music, memory, and meaning.

Saturday, Nov 15 | 3–7 PM Strings & Stories is hosted annually by Wondering Woods Farm in Conway, SC.

Join us for an intimate acoustic evening featuring rising South Carolina artists Elliot Poston, Preston Duffee, and Mariah Faith — sharing stories, songs, and southern soul on stage together.

✨ Expect heartfelt music, stories behind the songs, and a peaceful setting under the trees. Bring your blankets and chairs, kick back, and enjoy.

Preston Duffee is a country music artist from Hartsville, South Carolina. As seen on American Idol, Duffee brings a classic, but well-rounded country sound to the stage. After finding initial success with original song, “Something to Write About,” Preston and his band found themselves opening for country music legend, Clint Black at Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC. After playing many different shows across the Carolinas, and with experience of all kinds, Preston is able to provide high-energy entertainment for any and all occasions and venues.

Mariah Faith, country singer from Baltimore, Maryland, was raised in Conway, South Carolina. With a voice that weaves stories through organic country sounds rooted in blues, soul, and sometimes rock, Mariah captivates audiences with her heartfelt performances.

Mariah Faith is a rising country artist known for her soulful blend of country, blues, and rock. Originally from Baltimore and raised in Conway, South Carolina, she gained national attention as a Top 20 finalist on American Idol Season 21, where her authenticity, powerhouse vocals, and bold style won over fans and judges alike. From church choirs to bar gigs to national TV, Mariah has always used music as a form of self-expression. With a sound rooted in truth and a mission to stay unapologetically herself, she’s redefining what it means to be a modern country artist.

Elliot Poston is a country music artist whose journey is deeply rooted in his faith and dedication to his family. A South Carolina native, he began singing in church at 15 and picked up the guitar in college, where he also led worship. After years focusing on his church and family, Poston decided to pursue country music.

His authentic approach to music, which he describes as "the same person on and off stage," resonates with listeners. A memorable moment in his career was when he played a spontaneous concert in a parking garage at the Carolina Country Music Fest. Due to storm delays, Poston, who was scheduled to perform, took to an impromptu stage, captivating the crowd.

Poston's music often reflects "the Country Way," a blend of faith, family, and southern values. His current singles include "The Country Way," "You Can't Spell BUSCH Without USC," "Better Than I Deserve," and "If Only." He envisions his music supporting his family and connecting with audiences through genuine storytelling.
