Schubert: the Wanderer's Dream

Coastal Carolina University's Department of Music presents:
SCHUBERT: THE WANDERER’S DREAM

Baritone Jeffrey Jones, professor, and pianist Le Binh Anh Nguyen, lecturer, both of the Department of Music, present an afternoon of the music of Franz Schubert. The program features Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy, Op. 15 (D.760) alongside the first half of his song cycle Winterreise. Together, these works trace the inner landscape of Schubert’s “wanderer” — a figure of yearning, restlessness, and poetic introspection.
