Entry and Prizes:
Entry for the event will cost $15
A number of top scoring players equal to the amount of sets of rewards will all receive a set of character cards and team tactics cards from the organized play kit, and the top scoring player will receive the Starlord Acrylic Character Card
The player in 1st place at the end of the league will receive any Affiliation Pack of their choice.
Format:
League Signups will open on 12/22 at 6:00pm and close on 12/29 at 6:00pm
The League will begin on 12/29 at 6:00pm
League games will occur on Monday nights starting at 6:00pm
Each player will have their match randomly assigned to them with a reassignment occurring if they are matched against a player they have already faced during the league
Match assignment will be occur on the night of the league based on attendance
Kellen French is the Tournament Organizer and Evan Hecker is the Arbitrator
Scoring:
Every week the players will keep track of if they win or lose in addition how many points they scored by the end of the game
Each win will give the player one Victory point
Scoring is first based on number of Victory points
If a tie breaker is required, the number of points scored within a players games will be used to break a tie. If there is still a tie, difference of points of the player and their opponents throughout the league, in the case that there is still a tie a game of rock paper scissors will (best 3/5) will decide the winner.
If a player receives a buy they automatically receive a win with a score of 16 points against an opponent scoring 15 points
Rules
Games will be played with the standard MCP rules with all Character Cards, Team Tactics Cards, Crisis Cards, and any other game material being the most up to date version of the cards available from Atomic Mass Games. Each Game will use the Crisis Cards listed in the Challenger Crisis Card Set 2025
All rotations and restrictions will apply to team tactics cards
Since this event is geared to new players as well as experienced players each player will not be required to bring a full team of 10 models and tactics cards to the game but instead must be able to meet the following requirements
Each team must be able to create a squad that has a threat value of 16,17,18,19, and 20 with a active leadership in each squad
Each team must be able to bring 5 team tactics cards for each squad
Proxies are permitted but it must be reasonably clear which character the model is representing and the base size must match the official base size of the character
Players must submit their team at the start of the league and are not permitted to change it during the duration
One Shot Scenario cards will not be used for games during the event
