FRIDAY MOVIE NIGHT - Clueless

Clueless is a 1995 American teen comedy film that follows the life of Cher Horowitz, a wealthy and well-intentioned but naive Beverly Hills teenager, who navigates love, friendships, and social hierarchy. The film is a modern adaptation of Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma, reinterpreting the classic story's themes of matchmaking and social commentary within the context of a high school setting. Cher's journey involves attempting to find love and improve the lives of others, often with humorous and awkward results, highlighting both her endearing qualities and significant blind spots.

A film series curated by local film critic and radio D.J. Alec Kerr. Screenings include an intro talk and Q&A session after the movie.
