We are back from summer hiatus with all of your favorite vendors and treats! Vendors, food trucks, live music, dance parade! Stop by to enjoy the market and participate in our donation drive!
This market will also be our sixth annual It Takes a Village market!! Our goal is to gather 200 Blessings Bags! We will be collecting Blessings Bags to donate to local organizations helping folks facing homelessness and housing insecurity. Pack a bag (nylon string bags or large ziplock bags and backpacks work well) with items that would help a neighbor in need. Bags can be for anyone or focused for a man, woman, or a child. Gather bags as a group, family, as a work project, or as a community challenge with the kids.
Blessings Bags can include anything that would help someone in need. Here are some helpful ideas of items recommended to us!:
* Protein Bars
* Tampons and Pads
* Bandages, hand sanitizer, and tissues
* Wipes (personal wipes, not bleach) and Deodorant
* Bath gel (v. bar soap)
* Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, and Lip Moisturizer
* Socks, underwear, under shirts
* Hair ties and Brush
* Makeup and a small Mirror
* Snacks
* Lotion, Sunscreen, and Bug Spray
* Sudoku or crossword books, magazines, books
* Cutlery
* Pen and Paper
* Anything that you want!
After dropping off your donation Blessing Bag, stay for the market! Come visit our wonderful vendors selling magnificent food, sweets, crafts, jewelry, and services.
