A Light in the Darkness "Blue Christmas" Service

We are entering the most joyous time of the year. And yet, many people find it difficult to find joy in the holiday season. For some, this is the time of year when the memories of past hurts or present losses can be overwhelming. Because of the past or the strangeness of the present, for some, the upcoming holiday season may be a season of pain.

Recognizing that this is not a season of joy for everyone, we invite you and all those who are broken, weary, and hurting to come to A Light in the Darkness: A “Blue Christmas” Service on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 7:00PM at St. Paul’s Church. At the service, you will hear the promises of God written in the Bible: that God is with you, He will save you because He loves you, and He will – one day – make all things new and whole. You will then be able to offer any pain, loneliness, or sadness you may feel to our great sign of hope: Jesus, the Christ Child. You can light a candle in memory of someone you will miss during this holiday season. There will also be prayer teams available to pray for you to receive the healing that Jesus was born to bring you. All are welcome because the joy of Christmas is available to all.
