Hands-on course taught by vets, for smallholders and pet farm animal owners. Equip yourself with useful skills for animal management for goats, alpacas, sheep and pigs.

Under 18's must purchase a place and be accompanied by a paying adult.

Skills taught include;
Injection techniques
Oral drenching and dosing
Foot trimming
Condition scoring and mucous membrane monitoring
Catching and restraint
Legal principles of keeping farm animals
Medicine skills - antibiotics and wormers
Worm control
