Join us on Tuesday, October 8, for this year’s Walk a Mile in Their Shoes (WAM), hosted by the Thrive Survivor Support Center (formerly Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire or CCCNH). Our 11th annual walk invites the community to Walk with Us not just for a mile, but in solidarity, in compassion, and in commitment to a safer, more just world for all. Registration and festivities begin at 4:30pm. and the walk begins at 5:30pm.
Each year, we walk to raise awareness of domestic, sexual, and gender-based violence in Merrimack County. This year, we walk with even more purpose. At a time when critical funding is at risk and essential services are stretched thin, your support means more than ever. Survivors in our community are facing growing barriers to safety and justice and we need your voice, your presence, and your steps.
Every dollar raised from WAM goes directly to support Thrive’s life-saving programs and services. Your participation ensures that someone in crisis can find a safe place to turn, 24/7.
From high heels to hiking boots, flip flops to flats—WAM is all about showing up however you can. Whether you're walking in memory, in celebration, or in solidarity, we welcome your style and your spirit.
