Lighting of Concord 2025

Friday week following Thanksgiving, the city of Concord sponsors The Lighting of Concord annual Christmas event. Held in the R.F. Strickland Building and along Main Street, this is a one-of-a-kind family gathering. Family, food, live music, and a visit with the jolly ole man himself, this event draws local folks and those from neighboring counties.

The City of Concord invites you to the annual Lighting of Concord, Friday, December 5, 2025. Festivities will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Gather around crackling fireboxes with friends old and new, shop for that special someone at the Christmas bazaar or RF Strickland Company Mercantile enjoy pony rides for the children or eat tasty treats along Main Street. Sing along with live entertainment!
