Join us for the second annual Checkmate Challenge Community Chess Tournament at Lindbergh High School!
Check-in/walk-in registration begins Nov. 8 at 9:00 am; tournament play is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am. The tournament consists of three rounds, Swiss System (everyone plays all three rounds), and is expected to end by around 12:00 pm.
NEW! Four Divisions*: Ages 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, and 13+ and advanced players.
*Divisions may shift based on number of registrants in each age group. Younger, more experienced players may choose to play in the 13+ advanced division.
Prizes awarded for top players in all divisions; trophies and *cash* prizes awarded for top winners in the 13 and above division!
Please note that this is not a drop-off event, and parental supervision is required for anyone 16 years or younger.
