Savour CBS Newfoundland By Train: A Visual Journey

🚂Join Ken Pieroway as he takes us on an all-colour ride on the former 547 mile Newfoundland Railway from St. John’s to Port aux Basques in its last four decades of operation.

With 116 images taken by some of North America’s top railway photographers from 1952 to 1988, you are in for a visual delight as seen both from and by the train. Watch our beloved passenger trains, lengthy freights, and little mixed trains traverse the communities, bays, coves and interior of our beautiful Island province, and celebrate what the railway meant to Newfoundland.

Bound to bring back memories for those who remember the railway, and enlighten those discovering it for the first time!
