Journey Through Grief (An Experiential Workshop for the Bereaved)
The grief that follows the loss of a loved one can blow through our hearts and shatter us open to the painful reality of living on in life after death.
Navigating grief and mending the heartbreak is a
deeply personal journey that is not time-bound nor linear. If we meet our grief with intention and allow it to move and breathe through how we mourn, it will become less heavy, less jagged, less raw. Healing will happen.
Mourning is actively being with our grief through its outward expression. Mourning takes the grief and offers it to a place and space outside the mind and body. It does not replace the love that grief holds; rather, it gives the love form and voice. And
when we grieve together, sharing our voices, healing is amplified.
If you have lost a loved one and feel called to explore your journey through grief in an experiential workshop that emphasises connection to self and others, you are invited to join us.

About your facilitator:
Caroline’s journey through grief, after the death of her husband in 2021, led her down an unfamiliar, winding, and often confusing yet ultimately healing path. She has since trained as an
End-of-Life Doula, called to guide others through their life and death journeys. Additionally, Caroline is an RN and a certified member of the Canadian Nurse Psychotherapist Association,
focused on taking a holistic approach to mental health and end-of-life care in her private counselling and coaching practice. Previous to opening her practice, Caroline worked as a
nurse clinician, counsellor and case manager in both private and public mental health and substance use treatment programs - places where grief and loss are apparent. Additionally, she
has facilitated early recovery groups, women's sharing circles, Intentional Creativity® workshops, and taught posttraumatic growth programs. At the core of her work, Caroline is an
intuitive, creative, and spiritually informed practitioner. She has self-published a book of poetry and incorporates therapeutic and expressive arts into her offerings.
About Intentional Creativity®:
Intentional Creativity (IC) is a philosophy applied to what is being created and is rooted in the notion that what you create holds the energy of your intentions. As you intend to heal, you
become the healer. As you intend to create, you become the creator. As you intend to grow, you become the gardener of your life. IC is a mindful and effective method for empowering choice,
expanding self-awareness, connecting to intuition, cultivating resilience, unleashing creativity, and promoting healing. IC has therapeutic benefits by incorporating the use of visual image and
mark making, powerful questions and the written word, guided visualisation and somatic practices. It has been taught in many settings, such as addiction treatment centres, hospices,
private counselling practices, universities, prisons, and corporate environments.
