Walk for Peace Columbus

Walk for Peace start times range from 5 to 7:30 pm
Walk from intersection of Henderson and High St. to Broad and High

5:00: Henderson and High
5:30: North Broadway and High
6:00: Hudson and High
6:30: Fifth Ave. and High
7:00: Goodale and High
7:30 Broad and High

Walk for Peace ( https://www.facebook.com/walkforpeaceusa/) is hosted in solidarity with the Buddhist monks who started a months-long walking journey from their home in Texas to Washington D.C. They are expected to arrive in D.C. around the time of our local walk. We will walk in the spirit of the monks, who wrote of their journey:

"This is a beautiful opportunity to walk together for peace, to gather in unity, and to share in the spirit of mindfulness, loving-kindness, and compassion. Whether you walk with us for a few steps or the entire way, your presence will add light to this peaceful gathering."
