The Search for My Birth Family

Larry Nelson was born at the Friend’s Rescue Home, which was recently featured at another presentation. He was adopted and raised just a few blocks away, on the Hilltop, and graduated from West High School. Larry will discuss his journey, including some unexpected twists, to reconnect with his birth family.

Larry Nelson was born and raised on the Hilltop, in Columbus. He retired from the Ohio Historical Society (now Ohio History Connection) after working there for 30 years. After retirement he joined the History Dept. at Bowling Green State University, as an assistant professor.

This event is free, but space is limited and registration via Humanitix is required.
