Hello Fellow Scouters,
We're eagerly anticipating our upcoming Gateway District Roundtable meeting and sincerely hope you can join us on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at the Simon Kenton Office in the Leadership Development Center, located at 807 Kinnear Rd, Columbus, OH 43212. The main session will begin at 7:00 PM.
We'll be hosting a social half-hour from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM on the first floor, just outside the Scout Shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with your District Staff, Roundtable Committee members, and fellow Scouters, expanding your network within our Scouting community. Please note that the stairs leading up to the Leadership Center will open promptly at 7:00 PM.
We're excited to announce two presentations for our October Roundtable. We will first have Lisa Leach talk about mental health awareness. She will be covering things like statistics, signs to be aware of, and resources available for leaders. We will then have Shay and Nelson talk about BeAScout.org. They will be talking about how to handle leads, how to respond, and also how to make sure your BeAScout.org site has been updated.
