Million Coaches Challenge: Healing-Centered Sport 101

With the support of the Million Coaches Challenge we are excited to bring this free training to the Columbus, NE Parks & Rec community.

The Center for Healing and Justice Through Sport's (CHJS) core training, Healing-Centered Sport 101 explores the impact of trauma on the brain, body, and behavior of young people.

This session provides participants with an understanding of how sport can be leveraged to help young people heal and enables athletes and coaches to develop an applicable understanding of the ways in which sport is uniquely suited to heal.
