The Unity Suite is a new composition by composer, drummer and cultural advocate Mark Lomax II. Drawing from the rhythmic and cultural heritage of Black sacred music, the Unity Suite beckons music lovers from all over to join the Urban Art Ensemble on a musical journey to reclaiming our radical humanity. Channeling the rich traditions of the Black Church, the suite weaves together jazz, blues and the spiritual for a transformative experience that moves beyond performance into a movement.

Mark Lomax II and the Urban Art Ensemble premiere the Unity Suite at Wexner Center for the Arts on Thursday, October 2nd at 7pm. Tickets are on sale now.
