What is it?
Anosognosia is a neurological and psychiatric condition where a person is unaware of their own disability or illness, such as a mental health disorder, stroke deficit, or dementia, stemming from brain damage rather than psychological denial, making them unable to recognize symptoms or the need for treatment, and it's common in conditions like schizophrenia and Alzheimer's
