About the event

History of Brewing in Platte County
HISTORY OF BREWING IN PLATTE COUNTY
With many craft breweries now dotting the rural Nebraska landscape, PCHS is taking a step back in time to look at the early brewers of Platte County for our October 5th monthly program.
As a departure from the usual monthly presentations, the program will be held within historic Glurs Tavern at 2301 11th Street. Included will be a Glurs burger (or alternate sandwich upon request), fries, and a non-alcoholic beverage. Alcohol can be purchased but is not included in the price of the ticket.
Tickets are $20 per person for advance sales and $25 per person at the door. Seating is limited. If the event sells out in advance, ticket sales at the door will be unavailable.
Doors will open at 12:00 noon and the program will begin at approximately 1:00 PM. Randy Perault is slated to present on his extensive research into the early days of brewers in Platte County.
Tickets are available at the PCHS Museum and from board members
